Emma Hox

Hello, I’m Emma Hox and I have always been an avid fan of Jane Austen’s novels. Although my favorite novel, I have been disappointed in Pride and Prejudice’s Mr. Bennet. Longbourn’s Unexpected Matchmaker gives the witty father of Elizabeth Bennet the personality I always envisioned he should truly have.

I am a member of the Jane Austen Society and a Jane Austen writer’s guild.

I was born and raised in the farmlands of Eastern Washington and am a graduate of Central Washington University in Ellensburg, WA. I am married with two boys ages 6 and 4. My favorite thing to do, next to writing is to sail and spend time on the lake on weekends. To be honest, I mostly enjoy sitting on the bow of the boat in the shade of the jib to write.
